Alisa Eischen has a Doctorate of Physical Therapy, a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, and a graduate of Body, Arts and Sciences International (BASI), the world renowned Pilates Certification Program. She received her Masters of Physical Therapy in 1991 from Chapman University/Children's Hospital and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2002 from the University of Southern California (USC). She served at USC for several years as a clinical faculty instructor for the USC Biokinesiology & Physical Therapy Program, using her advanced training in manual orthopedic physical therapy. Alisa has completed a specialized residency in orthopedics and multiple year-long courses in orthopedic manual therapy.
Alisa has served as the Director of Therapy Services at Torrance Orthopedic Sports Medicine Group since 2008. She has treated pediatric through geriatric populations who have a wide-range of orthopedic diagnoses. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy private practice section. A lifelong athlete, she is a veteran of the USC volleyball team and an avid surfer.
